According to Nassau County Police, a 42-year-old man was fatally hit by a 19-year-old man driving a 2015 BMW while crossing from the north to the south side of Merrick Road.
The incident occurred at approximately 11:05 p.m. on May 11 in Massapequa.
The victim's identity has not been released, with authorities pronouncing him dead at the scene after suffering severe head and body trauma.
