The 18th Annual Walk-Along for Lupus will be on Sunday, October 16th, 2011 at Eisenhower Park, Field #6. Registration begins at 8:30am and the walk begins at 10am. The minimum registration donation is $20 per person. For schools teams that have 10 or more students registered, the minimum donation is $15.00 per person. As always walkers will enjoy breakfast, lunch, face painting, meeting Greg-T from Z-100, taking picture with USA Skateasauras and receiving great give-a-ways from the Walk-Along`s generous sponsors.

The money raised at the Walk-Along for Lupus provides the main source of funding for the Lupus Alliance of LIQ`s educational, supportive and financial programs and services that are available to those living with lupus, as well as to their families in the Nassau, Suffolk and Queens communities. The Alliance also uses the money raised at the walk to fund research into the cause and cure for lupus.
