The Miller Place - Rocky Point St. Patrick's Parade has been a beloved annual event for almost seven decades!

When the winter chill subsides and the warm spring weather begins to settle in, Long Islanders know that March has finally arrived! Spring doesn't officially arrives until March 20th, though until then there are plenty of last-minute winter activities to catch up on. This month's major holiday is St. Patrick's Day on March 17th, and there's truly no better way to march into spring than with a St. Patrick's Day Parade! Bagpipers, decorated floats, and more are expected to head down local streets in celebration of the holiday! Plus, whether you're looking for a concert or traditional Irish fare, there's will be plenty of events happening across Nassau and Suffolk throughout St. Patrick's Day weekend.

A plentiful number of Family Festivals and Craft Fairs to keep families busy ensures there's much more than just St. Patrick's Day fun this month. If you need to feel the beat, there are a number of live performances that will have you dancing and grooving your way into spring! And if that release of energy isn't enough, be sure to participate in one of this month's upcoming Nature and Outdoors events to get your heart pumping.

St. Patrick’s Day Parades
A large number of Long Island towns will be celebrating Irish heritage with a series of highly-anticipated St. Patrick's Day parades! From Cutchogue to Westhampton Beach, tens of thousands are expected to gather at town parades in the days leading up to the holiday!

85th Annual Huntington St. Patrick's Day Parade - FREE!
