The week of Valentine’s Day is finally here! This week, Long Island is packed with entertainment and activities ranging from Valentine’s Day chocolate baking, karaoke, country and line dancing and more! On Monday, head over to Hampton Bays Public Library for a session on chocolate bark baking and The Nest Bar & Lounge for its karaoke night. On Tuesday, Babylon Public Library has a session on tastes of Mardi Gras and it’s Tacos night at Social Sports Kitchen. On Wednesday, head over to the Nutty Irishman for country and line dancing and The Paramount for a performance by Matisyahu. On Thursday, it’s a special Valentine’s Day screening night of Frederick Knott’s The Tense Thriller, Wait Until Dark at John W. Engeman Theater at Northport. Bay Street Theatre is also screening War of the Roses. Check out the details below!


Who: Valentine’s Day Chocolate Bark At Hampton Bays Public Library
Info: Learn how to bake your own chocolate bark from the Baking Coach. There will be melted chocolate, white and milk with an assortment of candies, sprinkles and more. While waiting for it to dry, you’ll also have the chance to decorate your own bakery box to bring home. Registration required.

Who: Karaoke Mondays At The Nest Bar & Lounge
Info: Come out for a fun night of karaoke! It happens every Monday night.

Who: A Taste Of Mardi Gras At Babylon Public Library
Info: Here’s your chance to travel to New Orleans through taste. Kathy Dlugolonski will cook up Cajun delights for sampling. Registration required.

Who: Taco Tuesdays At Social Sports Kitchen
Info: Stop by Social Sports Kitchen to enjoy viewing a game of sports while dishing out to delicious meals and cocktails. Tuesday is also $2 tacos night. It also has $3 Coronas and $5 Margaritas!

Who: Country And Line Dancing Night At Nutty Irishman

Info: Hasidic reggae musician Matisyahu stands out from the crowd of the New York reggae scene. Matisyahu is a lyricist, MC and beatboxer and offers a performance at The Paramount.
