Armed Home Invasion in Bethpage: Elderly Couple Tied Up, Robbers Flee with Loot

Two armed individuals broke into a Bethpage home, restraining an elderly couple and fleeing with stolen items.

The Major Case Bureau reports the details of a Home Invasion that occurred on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at 2:00 a.m. in Bethpage.
 
According to Robbery Squad Detectives, two unknown subjects armed with long guns entered a residential home located on Normandy Drive through a basement window. Once inside the subjects tied the hands of a male victim, 62, and a female victim, 62, and were confined to their bedroom. One subject watched the victims in the bedroom while the other subject went through the rest of the home.
 
Both subjects fled the scene in an unknown direction with an undetermined amount of proceeds. There were no injuries reported. The investigation is ongoing.
 
Both subjects are described a black males, wearing all dark clothing, gloves and armed with long guns.
