Working With Local Elected Officials, Painters Will Dedicate Their Saturday to Repaint Home of Paralyzed Veteran on Long Island

Selden, NY - April 14, 2016 - On April 16th over 200 painters from District Council 9 (DC 9) International Union of Painters and Allied Trades (DC9) will be refinishing facilities owned or operated by not for profits throughout New York State at no charge, saving funds for organizations that deliver critical services to the community.
 
Locally, working with Town Supervisor Ed Romine the painters of DC 9 will spend their Saturday repainting and taping the home of William Ventura, a decorated marine who lost the use of his legs through his service.
