Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances involving a Coram teen reported missing.

Yamila Guerrero, 14, of Coram has been missing since Oct. 2, 2016. Anyone with information on Guerrero's location is asked to call 911 or Sixth Squad detectives at 631-854-8652.

Update - February 23, 2017 - Yamila Guerrero, 15, has made contact with her family but has still not returned home.

Coram, NY - October 6, 2016 - Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances involving a Coram teen reported missing.

Yamila Guerrero, 14, of Coram, was reported missing on October 2. Detectives believe Guerrero may be in the company of her former babysitter, who goes by Katherine Aleman and Katherine Aleman Martinez, 21. Guerrero was last seen on September 9 and her parents reported her missing this week. Foul play is not suspected.
