Regional Chamber of Commerce LIAACC Community Resource Day September 28, 2016

New York’s largest African American Chamber of Commerce will be presenting its first Community Resource Day bringing together quality business resources.

Hempstead, NY - September 6, 2016 - On Wednesday, September 28, 2016 New York’s largest African American Chamber of Commerce will be presenting its first Community Resource Day bringing together quality business resources, small business owners, professional services providers, and residents together to enhance the viability and sustainability of local communities in the region.

“It is vital for organizations such as the Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce to organize our communities around the areas of MWBE Development, MWBE Utilization, Trade Opportunities, Consumer Spending, Access to Capital, Advocacy, and Capacity Building for Small Business Owners”. The Community Resource Day will be held at Jackson Memorial AME Zion located at 60 Peninsula Blvd. Hempstead, New York 11550.  The Community Resource Day will begin at 2:00 pm and end at 6:00 pm.  The chamber’s general membership meeting will be conducted directly following the community resource day at the same location and will begin at 6:00 pm and end at 8:00.

LIAACC operates as a regional of chamber of commerce in the four counties of Nassau, Suffolk, Queens and Kings. LIAACC is a regional chamber of commerce and a county director serves in each of its counties. LIAACC has successfully held Inaugural launches in the counties of Nassau, Suffolk, and Kings.
