With numerous thunderstorms and showers expected today, and throughout the week, the National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for LI.

With thunderstorms expected throughout the day and into this evening, the National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Long Island, and other parts of the tri-state area. The storm front moving in is expected to bring numerous scattered rain showers and thunderstorms later in the day today, into tonight, which will potentially cause flash flooding.

There most likely will be continued thunderstorms tomorrow, and during the week. Be sure to check back regularly for updates, as there may be forecast changes for Long Island.
