Snow may be heavy at times late tonight through Thursday morning...before tapering off late Thursday afternoon and into Thursday evening. * Impacts...hazardous travel conditions due to reduced visibilities...icy roads and significant snow accumulations. * Visibilities...one quarter to one half mile at times. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of snow are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in an emergency. Centereach, NY - March 21st, 2014 -  Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who stole toys from a Centereach store last month.

A man entered Walmart, located at 161 Centereach Mall, on February 16 at 12:45 p.m. and attempted to steal nine Lego sets. When the man attempted to leave the store, he was confronted by store security, dropped the merchandise and fled the scene.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
