Oakdale, NY - January 14, 2015 - Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating an incident where a man died after apparently accidentally electrocuting himself in his Oakdale home this evening.
Erhard Mueller, 75, of 214 Connetquot Drive, was discovered by a family member in his basement already deceased at approximately 6:45 p.m. Mueller was found with power tools in close proximity to his body.
Mueller was declared dead by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.
The investigation is continuing.
