Serving as both the perfect send-off to spring and kick-off to summer, June has historically been one of Long Island’s most activity-packed months. As local elementary and high school students will soon be leaping out of their desks for a few months of fun in the summer sun, local towns are more than prepared with plenty of events to keep families busy!
 
An enormous selection of Festivals and Fairs comprise the core of this month’s family entertainment thanks to events being held across Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Whether you’re looking to enjoy a funnel cake while strolling down Main Street, or perhaps pick up some original handmade crafts, there is a seemingly endless quantity of events to choose from. Additionally, a great selection of Concerts and Live Performances ensure that your summer soundtrack will be packed with favorites both old and new!
 
With all of the fun to be had, it might be easy to forget that Father’s Day is on June 18th! Celebrate the father figure in your life by taking him out for a delicious meal or to an enjoyable Father’s Day event.
