DEC Accepting Public Comments on Two Polluted Sites

The NYSDEC will be accepting comments regarding the future of two polluted sites until January 20th.

Hicksville, NY - December 18, 2013 - The following link opens a public notice about a proposal to delist the Magnusonics Devices Site #130031 (Hicksville, Nassau County) from New York's Registry of Inactive Hazardous Waste Disposal Sites: 
NYSDEC is proposing to delist this State Superfund Program site because it has determined that the site no longer presents a threat to public health or the environment. The notice provides details about why this proposal has been made.
 
NYSDEC will receive public comments about the proposal through January 20, 2014. See the public notice for details.
