Nassau County PD: Man Wanted for Attempted Bank Robbery in Rockville Centre

Rockville Centre, NY - November 22nd, 2013 - Robbery Squad detectives are investigating an Attempted Robbery that occurred on November 21, 2013 at 11:57 am in Rockville Centre.

According to detectives, a male white entered Citibank, 297 Merrick Road, approached a teller and produced a demand note. After several seconds had passed, the subject suddenly left the bank without any proceeds and headed north through the rear parking lot.

During the Attempted Robbery there were ten employees and two customers present, all of whom were uninjured.

The subject was further described as being 35-40 years old, 5’7” tall, wearing a light blue button down shirt, black jeans, a bandana on his head and sunglasses.
