Two weapons recovered during a NCPD traffic stop.

The Fourth squad reports the arrest of a Bronx man for Criminal Possession of a Firearm that occurred on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 7:00 am in Woodmere.
 
According to Detectives, Fourth Precinct officers responded to West Broadway and Eastwood Road to assist The NYPD Warrant squad on a Vehicle and Traffic Law Stop.
 
During the investigation officers were able to recover two firearms and an imitation firearm from the vehicle that the defendant, Rahson Dickerson, 25, of 1011 Walton Avenue, was an occupant of. The defendant was placed into Police custody without incident.
 
Defendant Dickerson is charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Firearm, Three counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree. Dickerson had two open warrants, one for Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree and one for Robbery 2nd Degree. He will be arraigned on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
