Tinkerbell is a 3 year old sweetie who came to the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter as a stray. This poor girl showed up in June 2016 with injured ears, a bleeding eye and scars all over her face and neck. The wonderful medical staff at the shelter took amazing care of her, and sadly needed emergency surgery to save her eye.
But Tinkerbell didn't let any of that stop her- she has healed amazingly and is now a volunteer favorite! Tinkerbell is super sweet with people, is housetrained and even likes other dogs! Tinkerbell loves to go for walks, loves to kiss, and just loves attention! Please look beyond her looks, and fall in love with her for her beautiful soul.
