The Major Case Bureau reports that an arrest has been made in connection with a Robbery that originally occurred Monday, October 23, 2023 at 4:46 pm in West Hempstead.
According to Robbery Squad Detectives, an unknown male subject entered the Millennium Dry Cleaners, located at 323 Hempstead Turnpike. The subject walked behind the counter and displayed a handgun while demanding cash. The victim complied and the subject fled on foot in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of US currency.
There were 2 employees and no customers present inside the location at the time of the robbery. No injuries were reported.
Robbery Squad Detectives located and arrested a male juvenile, 17, at 12:25pm on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 for the above listed Robbery. He is charged with Robbery 1st Degree and will be arraigned on Thursday, October 26, 2023 in First District Court 99 Main Street Hempstead.
