The UBS 3 Keys Cup Championship is a charity hockey tournament consisting of select Financial Institutions with the goal of raising money for the 43 Oak Foundation. 43 Oak Foundation is a charity that was established in 2017 to help the development of young athletes who are either minorities or underprivileged through the sport of ice hockey. The 43 Oak Foundation has set out to give this opportunity to those who have not been exposed to hockey due to financial means or other barriers to entry.

Each team was required to raise a minimum of $12,000 for the 43 Oak Foundation. The Tournament also created a crowdsourced fundraising page for each team to use and will host a “leader board”.

Fundraising plays a key part in the tournament as well as if the event has a game that ends in a tie, the winner will be determined by the team with the higher fundraising number.
