This program provides eligible first-time homebuyers with up to $39,000 in down payment/closing costs toward the purchase of an eligible, new or existing single-family home, provided that the applicant meets all program requirements to secure a mortgage.

Homeowners are required to reside in the home as their principle residence for a minimum of 10 years or the United States (US) Department of Housing and Urban Development will require a full repayment of the HOME Investment Partnership Program down payment assistance provided.
