A Long Island man has hit it big with a Million Mega Millions win, taking home the lottery's second-place prize of $1 million.

Commack resident Stephen Krasniewski won the Friday, August 4 drawing, matching the first five numbers, according to New York Lottery officials. The ticket in question was purchased at the Bolla Market on Jericho Turnpike in Commack.

Krasniewski has opted to take the winnings in a one lump sum payment, which after required withholdings comes to $651,000.
