Farmingdale, NY - September 9, 2016 - Splashes of Hope, a non-profit 501c public charity with the charter to help children worldwide suffering from serious medical conditions, will host its 20th Anniversary Annual Gala and Mural Fundraiser at Conindre Hall, Huntington, NY on September 15. Proceeds from the event will be used to support the organization’s mission of “healing through art” by painting colorful, joyful murals that brighten the lives of young people being treated at medical and social service facilities.

The gala, which will have a Great Gatsby/Roaring ‘20s theme featuring a private speakeasy and live jazz age entertainment, will help Splashes of Hope continue to create art that transforms spaces, enriches environments, and facilitates healing. During the event, nine children, dubbed the 2016 Splash Stars, will be recognized and celebrated. All those who attend the gala can choose to support specific mural projects, participate in hands-on workshops and tour The Castle’s breathtaking galleries and workspaces. Jodie Goldberg, Fox 5 News reporter, will serve as the guest emcee.

The custom-designed murals and other artistic projects sponsored by Splashes of Hope bring smiles to the faces of patients, staff and visitors of medical and social service facilities throughout the United States and around the globe. All artwork is created to comfort and aid patients during treatment, healing and recovery using imagery with a soothing and uplifting spirit. Each mural is designed to address the unique needs of the patients, their families and the staff that cares for them.

“Twenty years ago, my family fell in love with Splashes of Hope and its mission. The organization makes an enormous impact by turning bare medical rooms into places of tranquility and hope. This year we are very honored to recognize the nine 2016 Splash Stars who give us all reason to celebrate,” said Roman Krawczyk, a member of the Splashes of Hope Advisory Board who’s family will be recognized during the gala for their two decades and three generation of support to the organization.
