Another Long Island food truck has opened up a permanent location. This time, Picante Tex Mex Food Truck is now Taco Island Tex-Mex. The mexican food restaurant opened its doors late last month.

Taco Island Tex-Mex’s menu is filled with references to Long Island. From the MonTaco with a flour tortilla and choice of protein, lettuce, tomato, cheese, sour cream and salsa verde to the East Hampton Burrito with four or whole wheat tortilla with choice of protein, rice beans, pico de gallo, corn, cheese, guacamole, sour cream, and avocado sauce. Their burrito bowls are called Salad Brook, and they have a variety of Mount Quesadillas with cheese, chicken, steak, and shrimp.
