Wanted for Sayville Pedestrian Hit-and-Run

Detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the driver of a vehicle that struck a pedestrian in Sayville last night before fleeing the scene.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fifth Squad detectives are
seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the driver of a vehicle that struck a
pedestrian in Sayville last night before fleeing the scene.
 
The pedestrian was walking on Sunrise Highway, west of Broadway Avenue, in Sayville,
when he was struck by a white Prius traveling eastbound on Sunrise Highway on August
25 at 9:30 p.m. The vehicle then fled. The victim was transported to an area hospital for
treatment of serious injuries.
 
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward for information that leads to an
