Two Injured During Freeport Mugging Incident, Authorities Report

NCPD: Two male victims, ages 41 and 74, were attacked and robbed by three unknown male subjects.

The First Squad reports the details of a Robbery that occurred in Freeport.
 
According to detectives, two male victims, ages 41 and 74, were walking southbound in front of 23 Hanse Avenue when three unknown male subjects came from behind them and forcibly removed a wallet containing an unknown amount of US currency from one of the victims and attempted to forcibly remove a watch from the other victim unsuccessfully before fleeing on foot northbound on Hanse Avenue. 
 
Both victims had redness and minor lacerations to their faces and were transported to a local hospital for treatment. The three subjects are described as being black males in their 20’s. No further description of the subjects is available at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
