SCPD has issued a Silver Alert for Fredrick Eaton, 81, a missing Bay Shore man.

UPDATE - July 27, 2017 - Police report that Fredrick Eaton has been located, unharmed. He was transported to a local hospital for evaluation.

Bay Shore, NY - July 25, 2017 - The Suffolk County Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for a missing Bay Shore man who suffers from dementia.
 
Fredrick Eaton, 81, was last seen at his residence, 1099 Reilly St., at approximately 8 p.m. last night. He is believed to be on foot. Eaton is white, 5 feet 8 inches tall, thin with blonde hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a blue jacket with the letters USA.
 
Anyone with information on Eaton’s location is asked to contact Third Squad detectives at 631-854-8352 or call 911
 
As a reminder, Silver Alert is a program implemented in Suffolk County that allows local law enforcement to share information with media outlets about individuals with special needs who have been reported missing.
