NCPD reports the arrest of Susan Rodriquez of Woodmere, 26, for a DWI involving a serious auto accident, that occurred in Cedarhurst on Sunday, 7/23.

Cedarhurst, NY - July 24, 2017 - The Homicide Squad reports the details of an arrest for a DWI, involving a serious auto accident, that occurred in Cedarhurst on Sunday, 07/23/17 at 11:24 P.M.
 
According to detectives, Susan Rodriquez, 26, of Woodmere, was operating a 2016 Honda HR-V westbound on West Broadway/Oakland Ave., when she struck a pole.
 
Nassau County Police Ambulance transported the defendant, who suffered chest pain, to a local hospital. The male passenger, 26, in her vehicle, sustained serious injuries to his head, face and stomach and is currently listed in stable condition.
 
Rodriguez is being charged with Assault 2nd Degree, Vehicular Assault 2nd Degree and DWI. She will be arraigned on Monday, 07/24/17 at the hospital. The investigation is ongoing.
