Hicksville Gas Station Robbed at Gunpoint, According to Nassau County Authorities

An employee at the Gulf Gas Station was approached by a male Hispanic subject that displayed a handgun and demanded cash, cops say.

Hicksville, NY - July 7, 2017 - The Major Case Bureau is investigating a Robbery that occurred in Hicksville on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 9:40 pm. 
 
According to Robbery Squad detectives, a 42 year old male employee was working at the Gulf Gas Station located at 575 South Broadway when he was approached by a male Hispanic subject that displayed a black / silver handgun and demanded cash. The employee complied by opening the cash register at which time the subject grabbed an undetermined amount of US currency and fled on foot north on S. Broadway towards Marvin Avenue.
 
There were no injuries reported. There were no customers present in the store at the time.
 
The male subject is described as being Hispanic, 20 – 25 years of age, 160 Lbs., dark colored hooded sweatshirt, blue face mask, dark colored pants, and dark colored shoes.
