Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are investigating a single-vehicle crash that killed a man last night.
Kevin Majanosaravia was driving a 1993 Honda Civic southbound on Yaphank Middle Island Road, when he lost control of the vehicle, which left the roadway and struck a tree near Island Bay Avenue at 11:57 p.m.
Majanosaravia, 24, of Central Islip, was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check.
