Elmont, NY - June 4, 2018 - The Fifth Squad reports the arrest of an Elmont man for Burglary that occurred on Sunday, June 03, 2018 at 12:02 p.m. in Elmont.
 
According to detectives, police responded to a 911 call for a burglary in progress at 2016 Linden Blvd. Upon arrival, police were informed a subject broke the front glass door and entered the establishment. A search of the building was conducted and Alain Mullings, 24, was apprehended without incident. Upon further investigation, it was revealed that the defendant had also broken into the establishment earlier in the day. Proceeds were an unknown amount of U.S. currency, candy and alcohol. Mullings also damaged two alarm systems.
 
Alain Mullings is charged with two (2) counts of Burglary 3rd degree and Criminal Mischief 2nd degree. He will be arraigned on Monday, June 4, 2018 at First District Court, Hempstead.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
