In recognition of national EMS Week, which honors EMS First Responders and the important work they do in the community, St. Catherine of Siena Hospital in Smithtown and local officials, congratulated two Responders from Smithtown. Suffolk County Legislator Rob Trotta presented a proclamation to James O’Conner, Executive Vice President of St. Catherine, acknowledging all EMS responders tireless dedication, compassion and outstanding patient care.
The hospital will display the proclamation in the responders’ break room. Legislator Trotta said, “I want to thank all first responders for their service and sacrifice especially during the past year with COVID-19 that brought so many challenges to all EMS crews.”
