Massapequa Schools Announce Law Enforcement and First Responders Appreciation Day May 22

County Executive Bruce A. Blakeman and Police Commissioner Patrick J. Ryder are proud to announce “The Massapequa Schools Law Enforcement and First Responders Appreciation Day” to honor Police Officers and First Responders from the area.  
 
Officers from the department’s Emergency Services Unit, K9, Motorcycle Platoon, Aviation Unit, Pop Officers and LEO the Law Enforcement Lion will be present to interact with staff and students to create a cohesive atmosphere with the student body who will thank the many officers and first responders, on and off duty, that are present.  
 
Officers will provide demonstrations and will be available for a Q&A period.
 
When – Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.
