In honor of Women’s History Month last month, Green Acres Mall in Valley Stream, New York teamed up with public officials to present donations to six local organizations. Each organization received a $500 donation. The organizations were selected because they are either women run or have a mission that is dedicated to helping women.

“Women play an integral role in our local community,” said Jill Bromberg, Marketing Manager of Green Acres Mall. "Our shopping center's ongoing goal is to foster connections with neighboring towns and create a welcoming space that engages our local residents. In March, the mall aimed to give back to the women of the community by providing donations to six organizations that support the surrounding neighborhoods. With the assistance of local officials, Green Acres Mall is thrilled to recognize these women leaders and female-focused non-profit organizations."
