SCPD: Arrest Made in Connection with Fatal Stabbing During East Patchogue Apartment Complex Fight

Suffolk County Police have arrested a man for killing another man in East Patchogue.
 
Homicide Squad detectives arrested Antwane Lee at Suffolk County Police Headquarters on Sunday, April 1, for stabbing and killing Justin Evans in East Patchogue on March 30.
 
Police responded to a report of a fight in an apartment complex, located at 9 Pondview Drive at approximately 8 p.m. Prior to police arrival, Evans, who was stabbed in the neck during the fight, was transported in a private vehicle to NYU Langone Hospital – Suffolk.
 
Evans, 22, of Bay Shore, was pronounced dead a short time later.
 
Lee, 31, of 184 Prospect Place, Bay Shore, was charged with Murder 2nd Degree. He will be held overnight at the Third Precinct and is scheduled for arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip on April 2.
