For the ultimate 1950s experience, grab a bite to eat at All American Hamburger Drive In, then head to neighboring sister store Marshall’s Ice Cream Bar to satisfy your sweet tooth. With so many flavors you can’t go wrong. But don’t pass up on their chocolate chip ice cream sandwiches filled with your choice of chocolate or vanilla soft serve. 

 

Northport Sweet Shop 

Northport Sweet Shop has been serving homemade ice cream and classics like sundaes, sodas and floats since 1929. With classic flavors like vanilla, coffee and chocolate you can’t go wrong, but splurge on their seasonal options too like pumpkin. The sweet shop also serves old fashioned chocolate egg creams and over a dozen different sundae combos, perfect for strolling through the harbor and enjoying. 

 

Magic Fountain 

There is no shortage of flavors, nor inspiration, at this North Fork destination. Flavors rotate, using local ingredients. Classics include Almond Joy, Black Cherry Bourbon and Cake Mix, but don’t pass up on their seasonal mash ups, you’ll be happily surprised. Magic Fountain also serves up vegan flavors too.
