FRIDAY – OCTOBER 17, 2014
Who: George Lopez At NYCB Theatre At Westbury
Info: George Lopez is known for his comedic talent and has entertained audiences on TV, film and in standup comedy. He’s now out with his tour, ‘Listen to My Face.’ Watch as he performs live!

Who: Neil Simon’s “Lost In Yonkers” At Bare Bones Theater
Info: This performance is set against the backdrop of America’s involvement in WWII. Two young boys are left to stay with their stern grandmother Kurnitz and aunt Bella, a middle-aged, mentally challenged woman, in Yonkers.

Who: Farmingdale Restaurant Week
Info: Running through October 19, enjoy dining out at participating restaurants in Farmingdale. Unlike other restaurant weeks, there are no uniformly fixed-priced menus. Participating restaurants are writing up special menus and special prices to treat customers.

SATURDAY – OCTOBER 18, 2014
Who: The Wizard of Oz At NYCB Theatre At Westbury
Info: Come enjoy a live performance of The Wizard of Oz! This stage musical is complete with all the charming songs.

Who: Library After Dark At Sayville Library
Info: Enjoy an evening of fun reminiscing about the 70’s! Participants will learn the hustle, dance to favorite tunes and enjoy a show about the power of the mind by the Magic of Amore. Refreshments will also be served. Space is limited! Advance sign-up is requested.

Who: Bill Cosby At The Paramount

SUNDAY – OCTOBER 19, 2014
Who: Big Duck Autumn Antique Auto Show
Info: Come by for the annual show featuring cars and trucks 25 years and older. It’s also happening on the grand opening weekend of the Long Island Duck Farming exhibit. The rain date for the event is October 26th.

Who: Long Island Pet Reptile Expo
Info: Thousands of live pet reptiles will be on display and for sale at this expo. Find more than 50 reptile breeders from all over the U.S. exhibiting as well as vendors with an offering of cages and reptile-related items.

Who: Nassau Barkfest At Eisenhower Park
Info: It’s Long Island’s largest free pet parade and costume contest! Come by with your four-legged friend or as a spectator to join over 500 of the best dressed creatures on the planet for awards in categories like Best Overall Pet Costume, Most Unique Pet Costume, Cutest Pet Costume, Scariest Pet Costume, Funniest Pet Costume, Best Pet Couple Costume, Best Owner/Pet Costume Combo and My Pet is Wearing that Next Year Costume. Participants are asked to bring pet food donation to help families with pets who are facing difficult financial times.
