FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT THIS EVENING The Flash Flood Watch continues for * Portions of southern Connecticut and southeast New York, including the following areas, in southern Connecticut, Northern Middlesex, Northern New Haven, Northern New London, Southern Middlesex, Southern New Haven, and Southern New London. In southeast New York, Northeastern Suffolk, Northwestern Suffolk, Southeastern Suffolk, and Southwestern Suffolk. * Until 8 PM EDT this evening * Periods of moderate to heavy rain is expected this afternoon. Any additional rain could lead to flooding of urban and poor drainage areas. In addition, smaller rivers and streams could overflow their banks.

SCPD: Three Men Arrested for Damaging Multiple Businesses and Vehicles with Graffiti

"No Sleep Team" allegedly spray painted 17 vehicles and 15 businesses in Bayport, Sayville, West Sayville, Oakdale, Bohemia and Ronkonkoma.

Suffolk County, NY - March 27, 2017 - Suffolk County Police have arrested three men in connection with damaging businesses and vehicles with graffiti in the Fifth Precinct during a more than two-month period.
Following an investigation by Fifth Precinct Crime Section officers and patrol officers, three men, who called themselves the No Sleep Team, were identified in connection with spray painting more than 40 tags on 17 vehicles and 15 businesses located in Bayport, Sayville, West Sayville, Oakdale, Bohemia and Ronkonkoma between January 15 and March 19.
The following were arrested and charged with Making Graffiti:
  • Robert Ungarino, 19, of Bohemia, was charged with 14 counts of Making Graffiti on March 19.
  • Kyle McDonnell, 19, of Ronkonkoma, was charged with 12 counts of Making Graffiti on March 19.
  • Dillon Harrison, 20, of Ronkonkoma, was charged with one count of Making Graffiti on March 24.
The men were issued Desk Appearance Tickets and are scheduled to appear in First District Court in Central Islip on a later date. Anyone who has additional information or believes they may have been a victim of this crime is asked to contact the Fifth Precinct Crime Section at 631-854-8532.
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
