Bellerose Man Arrested for Selling Heroin in Levittown

The accused has been charged for selling and possession of heroin as well as numerous other drugs.

Levittown, NY - March 9, 2014 - The Narcotics/Vice Bureau reports the arrest of a Bellerose man for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance on Sunday, March 09, 2014 at 12:35 A.M. in Levittown.
 
According to detectives, on three separate occasions, Wasif S. Hamid, 23, of 8357 248th Street, sold heroin to undercover agents.  Hamid was located on March 9, 2014 at 12:35 A.M. in Levittown and found to be in possession of 688 wax paper envelopes plus additional heroin, in excess of ½ ounce of cocaine, an undisclosed amount of assorted pills and 2 vials of Ketamine.
 
Hamid is charged with seven counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and three counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance.  He will be arraigned on Sunday, March 09, 2014 at First District Court in Hempstead.
