Suffolk SPCA Reports Cat Found Dead in Locked Cage at Blue Point Beach

A deceased tabby cat was found floating in the water at Corey Beach; police seeking suspects in heinous crime.

The Suffolk County SPCA are investigating the brutal death of a cat in Blue Point, NY.

Blue Point, NY - February 19, 2019 - On Sunday, February 17, 2019 two brothers were walking on the dock at the end of Corey Beach in Blue Point. While walking along the beach, they saw something floating in the water. The brothers pulled the object out of the water and saw that is was a small cage with a deceased tabby cat inside. The door on the cage was locked.
 
The Suffolk County SPCA are asking for the public's help to try to find the individual(s) who can share any information that they may have relating to this gruesome  discovery.
