Longtime Employees Honored for Service to Islip Town

Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter was recently joined by the members of the Islip Town Board at a ceremony that honored employees who have served the Town for over 35 years.

Islip, NY - January 27, 2017 - Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter was recently joined by the members of the Islip Town Board at a ceremony that honored employees who have served the Town for over 35 years. These longtime employees perform their roles in a variety of Town departments, and have served the residents through every challenge of the past several decades. 
 
“The strength of our Town government is the workforce. I believe we have the best employees of any Long Island town,” said Supervisor Angie Carpenter. “Whether performing their everyday duties or going the extra mile in an emergency, these employees have set the example for meritorious service.”

There are ten employees that have been serving with the Town for over 35 years:
