Governor Cuomo Announces Registration for 2017 Regional State of the State Addresses is Now Open

Governor Andrew M Cuomo today announced that registration is now open for the 2017 Regional State of the State Addresses being delivered the week of January 9.

Albany, NY - January 3, 2017 - Governor Andrew M Cuomo today announced that registration is now open for the 2017 Regional State of the State Addresses being delivered the week of January 9. The addresses will take place in six different locations over the course of three days:

  • Monday, January 9 in New York City and Buffalo
  • Tuesday, January 10 in Westchester and Long Island
  • Wednesday, January 11 in Albany and Syracuse.

New Yorkers wishing to attend can register on the Governor's homepage before registration closes on Friday, January 6 at 12:00 p.m. Seating is limited and tickets are non-transferable. In the event that the number of requests exceeds available seating, attendees will be selected by lottery. Guests will be notified of their selection via email no later January 8.

Guests are reminded that bags, backpacks, luggage, parcels, briefcases, and like articles are strictly prohibited from the event.

Photography and videography devices will not be allowed on the premises. Guests with prohibited articles will be turned away. No storage or "check-in area" will be provided for such items.

Specific times and locations for these events will be provided in the coming days.
