Attorney and author Lauren P. Raysor, Esq. is scheduled to make a guest appearance on "Awareness Avenue with Dr. Deb" on Old Westbury Web Radio. The show, which is hosted by Dr. Debra Lynn Kaplan, is scheduled to air on September 28 from 3-5 p.m. and can be heard on radio.oldwestbury.edu.

On the show, Ms. Raysor will discuss her book, "Living the Wealthy Life," and that every person has the ability to transform their current situation into something truly magnificent, regardless of their social or economic background. The transformation starts from within as people learn to take responsibility for their own actions rather than blame others. As an example, Ms. Raysor describes how she rose from poverty to become Assistant Attorney General for the State of New York, Deputy Chief and later Senior Trial Counsel for New York City and before starting her own practice.

In addition, Ms. Raysor will comment on the recent execution of Troy Davis, who was put to death on September 22 in Georgia for the 1991 slaying of police officer Mark MacPhail, and the current state of the U.S. criminal justice system.
