Nowadays couples are taking a more unique route rather than a traditional one when it comes to wedding planning. They want their big day to be special and have out of the ordinary features. To add a fun twist to your celebration, check out these one of a kind seating chart ideas that are sure to impress both you and your guests!

Seating Chart
A simple way to display your seating cards is to set up a basic seating chart and dress it up a bit to match your wedding theme. You can even do some parts of the chart on your own to help save some money. Some fun ways to set up a basic chart is to use a chalkboard and write all the names and table numbers on there, or use an old window for a unique touch!

Frame Seating Plan
Purchase a large board and a couple of picture frames that you don’t mind getting some glue on. You can use colored frames to go with your wedding colors or you can keep it simple and get all white or all black. Some board alternatives that are fun and unique include an old door that some refinish to make look new. This will add a nice touch to your decor as well! Once you have chosen your board, glue the frames on and label each with a different table number. Inside the frames, write each guest's’ name or print out lists for each and glue it to the inside.

Tree Seating Chart
A great idea, especially for an outdoor or floral themed wedding, is a tree seating chart! This chart can be attached to a wall and used as decor or can be set up on an easel so the guests can see it as soon as they walk in. Each stem of the tree can be used for a table, and the branches can be used to put each guest’s name. This seating chart idea will be sure to impress everyone at the celebration!

Items that Represent your Theme
Instead of going with an actual chart idea, use items that represent your theme. If you’re having a wine styled wedding, a cute way to display your seating cards is to use a cork! A great way to save some money is to collect some and have friends and family give you theirs, too. For a school themed wedding, use pencils in mason jars and stick a ribbon on each. Label each mason jar with a table number and put the names on the pencils.
