This weekend on Long Island is packed with fun for the whole family! From festivals, comedy shows to music performances, there's plenty to do.

The end of summer is near, so take advantage of outdoor fun on Long Island with plenty of family-friendly festivals, including the Copiague Chamber of Commerce’s Long Island Family Festival, an apple festival and fair, Bayville’s Waterside Festival, Hofstra’s annual Italian festival and more! You can also get in some evening fun and laughter with Sinbad at NYCB Theatre at Westbury and the talent at the HarborFest All Star Comedy Show at Bay Street Theater. Also, don’t forget about the great music entertainment available at the end of this week, including Enrique Iglesias and a symphonic tribute to Paul McCartney and The Beatles! Who: Copiague Chamber Of Commerce Long Island Family Festival
Info: Come out and enjoy this fun-filled family festival featuring live music, food and carnival rides! The festival continues through September 14th along the seaside beach at Tanner Park. Rain date is September 26-28.

Who: Sinbad At NYCB Theatre At Westbury
Info: Enjoy a live performance with Sinbad! You’ll be sure to get many laughs with this American stand-up comedian and actor.

Who: Live and Let Die – A Symphonic Tribute To Paul McCartney and The Beatles
Info:  The performance stars Tony Kishman from the Broadway production ‘Beatlemania’ and features a four piece band and a full symphony orchestra led by Martin Herman. Hear songs from The Beatles catalog and some of Paul McCartney’s solo works.

Who: Apple Festival And Fair At Stony Brook Community Church
Info: It’s all about apples at this festival! Find homemade apple pies, apple crisp, apple fritters, baked goods, made-to-order caramel apples with various toppings and fun entertainment like pony rides, moonwalk, giant slide, face painting, games and prizes.

Who: The Music Man At John Cranford Adams Playhouse of Hofstra University
Info:  This musical comedy is set in River City, Iowa, centering around a fast-talking con man who sells boys’ band instruments and uniforms to naïve townsfolk, and the prim librarian who eventually transforms him.

Who: HarborFest All Star Comedy Show At Bay Street Theater
Info: This event features the rising stars of comedy including host Joseph Vecsey, comics Marina Franklin, Showtime’s Woman Who Kill, Inside Amy Schumer, Late Night Show with Craig Ferguson, Akaash Singh, MTV’s Wild ‘N Out, and Giulio Gallarotti, MTV’s Girl Code. Music for the show is provided by Nicky K.

Who: 18th Annual Bayville Waterside Festival
Info: The festival features craft and gift vendors, great food, live music and fun for kids, like face painting and inflatable rides.

Who: Hofstra University’s 22nd Annual Italian Festival
Info: This festival features food, vendors, handmade crafts, exhibits by cultural organizations, music, dance, poetry and more! Kids will also have fun with activities like a puppet show and magic show. The festival takes place rain or shine.

Who: Enrique Iglesias At Nassau Coliseum
