A MV Limo charter bus plunged partially through the concrete ceiling of a Long Island parking garage on Tuesday evening, prompting a major emergency response from multiple local fire departments.

The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. at a medical park on Marcus Avenue, just west of New Hyde Park Road. According to authorities, the rear end of the tour bus collapsed into the structure, causing significant damage to the upper deck of the parking garage.

Photos posted by LI Fire Buff on Facebook show the back of the bus sunken into the concrete, surrounded by emergency vehicles and first responders. Fortunately, preliminary reports indicate that the bus was unoccupied at the time of the collapse.

It remains unclear if anyone was injured in the incident. Fire departments from Port Washington, Elmont, Freeport, Bethpage, and North Bellmore all responded to the scene.

The cause of the collapse has not yet been determined, and the situation is still under investigation.
