SPCA: Shirley Man Charged with Starving, Neglecting His 2 Year-Old Dog

Shirley, NY - January 31, 2019 - Suffolk County SPCA Detectives charged a Shirley man with animal cruelty on Wednesday, January 30, 2019.
 
Carroll Dennis, 32, was charged with neglecting Soska, his 2 year old male pit/mix. Dennis failed to provide his dog with proper sustenance including food and veterinary care leading to it's emaciated state. Three other dogs were surrendered and have been transported to the Brookhaven Animal Shelter.
 
Dennis is scheduled to appear in First District Court on March 28th, 2019.
