The Suffolk County Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for a missing Yaphank man who suffers from dementia.

Yaphank, NY - August 11, 2015 - The Suffolk County Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for a missing Yaphank man who suffers from dementia.

Robert Barrett, 75, was last seen leaving his home at 128 Gerard Road in Yaphank at approximately 7:45 p.m. last evening. He left in a 2012 Red Honda Accord with a New York license plate either BKP 4308 or GYW7298 and he was heading to the Rite Aid store located at 700 CR101 in Medford.

Barrett is described as a white male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, approximately 225 pounds. He has white hair, brown eyes and he currently has a beard and a moustache. He was wearing long, dark pants, a black short-sleeve shirt, and sandals. He is also wearing a silver bracelet and carries a wallet containing his ID with him.
