Styled homes sales better.

It sounds simple, and the concept has indeed been used with great success in the U.S. for decades.

"Realtor styling" has nonetheless first arrived outside the U.S. in recent years, but that doesn't mean that you cannot go one step further!? Interactive displays of homes where potential buyers can both view and even style the desired property,is probably the way forward.

According to a study by the U.S. 'Real Estate Staging Association: "homes that have been exposed to a decent amount of
home-styling, are sold four times faster than other homes.

And there certainly is a need to speed things up. Take the Danish real-estate sales for an example. In a major Danish
newspaper (politien.dk), you could recently read that at the end of 2010, there were 5074 more homes for sale than in late 2009. This means that the time it takes for a property to get sold has gone seriously downhill.

A good example of how to give potential buyers the opportunity to tailor their new home is the interactive 3D tool lovemyhome.dk where users can draw and organize their homes.

We are still at an early stage of real-estate styling in Denmark, but with interactive tools, the possibilities are endless.
