Successful Coat Drive for Long Island Firearm's

Ronkonkoma, NY-Long Island Firearms has collected a total of 617 coats for the 2010-2011 "Keep Long Island Warm" coat drive!
Long Island Firearms in conjunction with LI Second Amendment Preservation, Inc has partnered up with Long Island Care's / The Harry Chapin Food Bank, One Warm Coat, and the Burlington Coat Factory for the collection of winter coats and jacket's.
Long Island Firearms coat drive lasted 4 weeks and collected an amazing amount of coats to help keep Long Islander's warm this winter!
All coats collected will be distributed to families on Long Island.
"Once again, our members are closing ranks to demonstrate our commitment to our community," said Steven Blair, Long Island Firearms' founder and President of Club LIF. "Whether its doing street cleanups, blood drives, Band Aid drives, volunteering for Jacobs Light Foundation, or organizing collection points for Cellphones for Soldiers, our members are always willing to step up and lend a hand." He continued, "Firearms enthusiasts don't have a very positive image in New York; we're here to change that.
We are your family, your friends and your neighbors, and we look forward to continuing to perform good deeds for our community...we actually do more community service together than we shoot at the range as a group!"
