Free Support Groups

Bereaved Parent Support Groups

Held throughout the month in person and virtually through Telehealth

Parent support groups offer parents a safe place to share their grief and find the tools to live with their unimaginable loss. Day and evening in-person and virtual groups are held throughout the month and all sessions are facilitated by licensed clinical professionals.

Sibling Support Groups

Held throughout the month virtually through Telehealth

Oftentimes, the loss of a sibling is overshadowed by the loss of a child, and siblings will sometimes feel alone or forgotten. These clinically facilitated support groups allow siblings to feel connected to their brother or sister, as well as others sharing similar losses.

Teen/Young Adult Support Groups

Held once a month virtually through Telehealth

A group for teens and young adults (ages 17 - 22) grieving together. Members will explore the impact of grief in their lives, have the unique opportunity to embrace hope, enhance self-esteem, and learn that they are not alone.

Visit the COPE calendar for the complete support group schedule.

Monthly Healing Workshops

Every month COPE also offers special workshops such as yoga, meditation, Reiki, art, movement, music, breath work, and more. In January, COPE will be presenting The Soundtrack to your Life in partnership with Pinelawn Memorial Park and Arboretum as part of its Grief Healing Workshop Series.

The Soundtrack to your Life

Tuesday, January 24, 7 - 8 p.m.

Online event

Facilitated by Josh Robinson, a professional percussionist, teaching artist, and drum facilitator, this online workshop is a musical reflection of participants’ stories and the role music played in those moments with their loved ones. There is also a listening relaxation/wellness portion where Josh will play live soundscapes as group members work, listen, and write. Reserve a spot online
