Snow may be heavy at times late tonight through Thursday morning...before tapering off late Thursday afternoon and into Thursday evening. * Impacts...hazardous travel conditions due to reduced visibilities...icy roads and significant snow accumulations. * Visibilities...one quarter to one half mile at times. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of snow are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in an emergency. Shirley, NY - August 13th, 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Seventh Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who stole merchandise from a Shirley store in May of 2014.

A man entered Jeans Town, located at 862 Montauk Highway, on May 23 at approximately 1:45 p.m. and stole various items of clothing with a total value of more than $800.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
